In 2019, the classrooms at Anwiankwanta Community Basic School in a dilapidated state. The roof of the building was leaking badly, and kids and caretakers and teacher felt uncomfortable whenever it rained. So the Community leaders and the management of SDA school decided to construct a three (3) unit classroom block to house the Nursery, KG1 and KG2 to eliminate a potential danger posed to the kids.
The Unit Committee of the Town and the traditional council mobilized some blocks, gravels and sand to start the foundation of the building.
The Chiefs appealed to Geodrill for support to complete the project. Geodrill responded favorably and the new 3-unit classroom and office is now complete.
